Relationships can be a hard thing to deal with. Especially a long distance relationship. I know this personally from being in a long distance relationship. Relationships are very tricky at times. All of my past relationships have always taught me something. Whether it be how to treat the other person, or how you want to be treated for example. There will always be heartache in any type of relationship, whether it be a dating relationship or just a casual friendship relationship. I have had people ask me with my relationships how I dealt with the heartache. I can’t personally say how I dealt with it, because I deal with it differently as it is always something different that caused the heartache. One thing in order to make a relationship work, is that you need to be assertive to what your partner wants and/or needs and vice versa. You need to have trust in the relationship as well. If there is no trust in the relationship, then 9 times out of 10 the relationship won’t work. I give 100% trust to my partner at all times. Honesty is another feature that needs to be in a relationship. You need to be able to be honest with each other and you also need to be able to communicate with each other. I have only had one true relationship in my life. Although me and the other person are not together anymore, we are still best of friends. If we wanted to we could rekindle the relationship in the future.

Long Distance…people of all ages say that being in a long distance relationship won’t work out. That is partially true. A long distance relationship also needs to have all the same features/characteristics as a traditional relationship has, plus more. Long distance relationships are one of the trickiest forms of relationships. In order for a long distance relationship to work, it should only be for like a couple of months. What I mean on that is…if one person in the relationship is working away. If a long distance relationship is only going to be a long distance relationship, with no means of physical/personal contact, it won’t work. If all you have in the long distance relationship is video chat, phone calls, texts, etc., then I am 99.9% certain that the relationship won’t last. The only means to have a long distance relationship (my opinion) is for when you or your partner are going to be working away from home for sometime.
