Family

Family means the world to me and I don’t know what I would’ve done the past couple of days without them. When I had to take my mom to the hospital I never knew that I would need/want my family so bad. I was a complete wreck after being told they were transferring my mom to the hospital in Champaign. I went outside and sat in my car and just cried. Then I had to pull it together and call my older brother and let him know what was going on. After making that call I ended up calling my pammy. I just needed to hear someone’s voice and that is the one person I needed l. I just cried vigorously. I wanted to call my brother Nick, but I couldn’t because I didn’t want him hearing me cry although he’s seen me cry before. If I didn’t have my pammy on the other end of the phone I don’t know what I would’ve done I was such a huge mess. But I am glad that is in the past now, but not to far in the past as we are not over the hurdle yet. And I continue to pray and thank god for giving me more time with my mother.

When I seen my Aunt Dorothy at the hospital, I almost lost it also then. She is my everything. She means the world to me and was so glad to see her there. By her being there, it brought me some more comfort knowing that everything will be ok.
